Our Mission
Our Mission at Ark Preparedness is to equip the Body of Christ with the disaster and emergency preparedness skills, knowledge and tools necessary to weather the storm. We believe the Storm is coming, and we feel called to prepare others to endure the beating wind and rain.

And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat
on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
OUR WALK
Not so long ago, we were the typical American suburban Family. We were of the world and all of our time and energy was invested in worldly pursuits. That changed when we accepted Jesus Christ as our savior at a preparedness show in the Appalachian Mountains. We dedicated our lives to following Jesus and walking the path God laid before us.
Within a few months, as the sole provider for the family, I quit my job, and we sold our house and most of our possessions. We didn't know what we were being called to do or how we would get by, but we knew we couldn't continue living as we were.
Upon much prayer and reflection, we came to the conclusion that we are called to prepare the way of the Lord by equipping his bride with the wilderness survival skills and tools necessary to endure the birth pangs of his coming. Now we live on the road, going where we are called, teaching, helping, loving and doing our best to follow the way.
Who we are
Meet the Dunham's.
We travel, work and live together as a team. If you hire us to come train your family, group or organization, the whole crew comes to you. Nick and Andrea Dunham are certified Outdoor Health and Education Instructors. The kids, while not yet certified instructors, know a thing or two and will participate in the training of other young ones. Andrea as well has experience training youth groups in wilderness and preparedness skills. Nick has over a decade of experience and training and has worked with some of the best outdoors schools and instructors in the country.
